Get to know me

I'm Ginny, a UX Designer based just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina with a background in digital marketing. My UX experience includes working on web design projects, where I updated style guides and templates based on clients’ branding, created color schemes, worked with components, and exported files for hand-off to the development team. My social media experience has enabled me to become an expert in getting feedback and perfecting my interdepartmental communication by working with various teams.

I spent a few years thinking that design was "the one that got away." Although I took a graphic design course that I loved in college, I was too far into my degree to change my major. I graduated and started working in digital marketing, but I never lost my interest in design. I've felt the most successful and happiest throughout my career when I’m solving issues, testing different ideas, and seeing improved results. As a solution-oriented and results-driven person, UX design is my future.

In my spare time, you can find me reading thrillers or cheesy romcoms (my personal best was reading 31 books in a year), spending time with my fiancé and cat, soaking up the Florida sunshine, looking for new hobbies to express my creativity, or watching terrible reality TV.
